Shakespeare's 1598 romantic comedy features the famously rowdy knight Sir John Falstaff as he tries to swindle a pair of wealthy women, only to have them hatch plans of their own. Directed by Texas State Shakespeare professor Joe Falocco, this delightfully distilled production is clear, concise, and deliciously bawdy. It is staged in the tradition of Elizabethan style  theater, with seating on two sides of the stage for adventuresome patrons.
